ACCOMMODATIONS

The guest house is a 1700 square foot fully-furnished home and designed to provide a peaceful place to rest and have fun. There is a master suite with a queen-sized bed, as well as two additional bedrooms and a second full bath with a tub. The open kitchen, dining, and living room with a wood-burning stove allow for conversations and family meals. Equipped with a stereo, games, puzzles and books, there are many activities to enjoy as a family. The unfinished downstairs also offers a recreation room furnished with ping-pong and pool tables, darts and a table for putting together puzzles and playing games. This home also includes a beautiful deck for more great conversations. 

THE GROUNDS & BEYOND

Second Wind  sits on 5 acres of land in Black Forest, Colorado at an elevation of 7464 feet above sea level. From the shade of Ponderosa pine trees to the trails throughout the area, there is plenty of space to enjoy creation. 

There are many family-friendly sight seeing options in the Colorado Springs and Denver areas. From museums and zoos to hiking and biking, there is an abundance of opportunities for fun and adventure. Follow this LINK to a list of Local Sights to See.

INTENTIONAL CONVERSATIONS

Renewal often comes through intentional conversations. At Second Wind, guests are offered the opportunity for debriefing, coaching, marriage intensive therapy.  We recommend services offered by Shelter Pines.
